The Brantley Banner

Grace Staudenmaier
Grace Staudenmaier is a first year staff member and is looking forward taking part in The Brantley Banner staff. She is in her senior year and plans to study to become a writer after graduation. She hopes to move to New York to go to school and start her career as possibly a novelist or journalist. With a passion for writing, Grace tries to incorporate it into her day as often as possible with recreational writing at home and classes that are heavily infused with literature. She is vice president of the debate team and competes in speech tournaments throughout the year. In preparation she writes and memorizes a 10 minute speech to perform as her competition piece.  Grace loves discussing current events and social issues that hold relevance in modern society. In addition, she performs spoken word poetry every Tuesday night and competes in Button Poetry competitions. Grace is excited to continue working on her poetry and progress throughout the year. When she is not writing, she can be found skateboarding or relaxing with a good book and some coffee.
