Alexander Garofalo

Alexander Garofalo, Copy Editor

Dedicated and passionate, senior Alexander “Alex” Garofalo is a third-year staff member and Copy Editor for The Brantley Banner. Garofalo has a particularly keen eye for detail, contributing to the polished look of The Brantley Banner. He originally joined Newspaper in his sophomore year because he found it interesting and enjoyed having Mrs. Turkelson as his teacher. Garofalo’s devotion also shows in other school organizations that he is associated with including the National Honor Society as well as captaining the LBRA (Lake Brantley Rowing Association) crew team. When not on the lake or editing a story, Garofalo occupies his time by collecting rocks and looking at the night sky. Although journalism and rowing have been a large part of Alex’s high school career, in the future, he desires to become a lawyer and has hopes to visit all of the National Parks in the U.S. and hunt big game with his father.

Senior Alexander Garofalo spends some long-overdue time with his dog, Simba. “I did not realize how little attention I have given my dog because I was always so preoccupied with either school or rowing,” Garofalo said. “With me being home all the time, I am constantly showering Simba in love, and he is just loving it.”
