On August 24, the Lake Brantley student body assembled in the main gym to show their school spirit and heighten excitement for the upcoming football game. The game that night was the first of the season, and summer-long wait was finally over. The entire population of students was involved, ranging from the cheerleaders performing their routine, the band providing music for the occasion, and an intense tug of war competition between the different classes. The students also engaged in a friendly push up competition against the teachers, where senior football player Nolan Sanders took home the victory. “It was good to see everyone supporting Dr. Daniel”, Senior Mollie Pathammavong said. “It’s also fun to see everyone’s school spirit, as well as the band.”
