The Brantley Banner

Anisa Velazquez
Anisa Velazquez is the Features Editor of the Brantley Banner for the 2018-2019 school year. She is a junior who participates in Track and Field as a sprinter, works at Wekiva Island, and babysits. She is also in National Honor Society, English Honor Society and Quill and Scroll. During her free time, she enjoys kayaking, swimming, going to concerts, and sharing a laugh with her friends and family. She has a passion for writing which she discovered in fourth grade, but the passion grew when she was accidentally put in Journalism 1 her freshman year and she immediately loved the journalistic writing style. She grew up in a family of five with her two younger sisters who have the same appreciation for music, art, and traveling that Anisa does. She loves the melting pot of culture in big city life, and would love to live attend college in her favorite place to travel to, New York City, to major in either business or journalism.
