Emily Melanson is a first-year staff reporter on The Brantley Banner newspaper. Emily has always had a love for writing which sparked her interest in joining the class. She is very excited for this year as it is her first full year as a Patriot. In addition to newspaper, Emily also participates in Brantley Medical Club, Sunshine Club and the LBHS soccer team.  In her free time, she enjoys working out and being with her friends. Eventually she would love to own her own project car, a 92’ Supra, but she has fallen in love with the newer Audi models. After high school Emily aspires to study in the medical field abroad setting her up to hopefully intern out of the country.
