Carson Cashion is a senior Sports Editor for The Brantley Banner. Cashion has been on staff for two years and wants to pursue journalism outside of The Brantley Banner. Being on the newspaper staff allows Cashion to get a better feel for the journalistic world and expose himself to various writing styles. After high school, he hopes to go to either the University of Georgia or the University of Florida. There, he will pursue a degree in journalism. Despite being involved in newspaper Cashion also plays water polo, plays the trumpet and even writes for a hockey blog. Cashion’s achievements include passing his AP LANG national and scoring 25 goals for his water polo team.  In his free time, he enjoys throwing the ball or going on walks with his dog, Baxter. Some fun facts about Cashion are that he is left-handed, his favorite color is royal blue, and his favorite animal is the Orca Whale. To keep up with Carson and sports around Lake Brantley, check out his podcast KC Squared in the “Podcast” section of our website.
