Maddie Watts

Maddie Watts, Staff Reporter

Maddie Watts is a sophomore and first-year staff reporter and is very excited to be on the Brantley Banner this year. In sixth grade, she started cheering in the Pop Warner program and is currently on the junior varsity cheer squad for Lake Brantley. Maddie joined the Banner staff after she took Journalism 1 as a freshman and thoroughly enjoyed expressing herself creatively through the story assignments she was given. In her free time, Maddie enjoys watching classic movies, Disney films, reading novels, and bullet journaling. In the future, she hopes to attend Florida State University and pursue a career in law. Although her favorite genre is country, her favorite artist is and will always be Taylor Swift. Her love for music originates from growing up on classic rock since both of her parents are fans of the genre. Maddie is currently a soprano one in the Voices of Freedom choir and has a very flexible vocal range and can sing anything that is not below an alto.
