The powder puff game for the 2018-2019 school year took place on Monday, September 17 at 7 pm. With the theme for homecoming being New York City, because the seniors will be the last class that was alive for 9/11, the juniors were assigned to be firefighters and the seniors were police officers. The juniors and seniors had multiple, hour and a half long practices leading up the game. These were used to teach the boys how to stunt and cheer, while the girls learned the positions and plays of flag football. Brantley cheerleaders taught the boys and Brantley football players worked with the girls. So many girls signed up to play for the junior team that many people could only play once during the actual game. However, all the girls learned to play a certain position at practice.
