A winter wonderland of school spirit

The week of Dec. 4th through Dec. 6th was “Winter Week,” a spirit week for students to celebrate the winter holidays. The week kicked off with “Merry Monday,” a cozy day where students wore their comfiest winter pajamas to school. “Twas the Night before Tuesday” was the second spirit day, where students had the opportunity to wear their best ugly sweaters and cutest holiday socks. Then, the students brought back the memories of their childhood with “Wishlist Wednesday,” which enabled students to dress up as their favorite childhood toys. That night students and faculty were also invited to a holiday watch party, where the school screened “Home Alone,” a sweet and nostalgic movie for a lot of families. Then came “Top it off Thursday,” on which students arrived at school in their most festive holiday headgear. The final spirit day was “Santa meets Sandler,” the iconic match-up where students came as either celebrity Adam Sandler or Santa Claus – or if they were bold enough, a mix. This Winter Spirit Week was an amazing transition into the end of the semester as the students started to prepare for exams and the break.
