October 30, 2020
On Friday Oct. 23, Tom Storey Field came alive to host the varsity football game against the West Orange Warriors. This was the sixth game for the varsity team and one of the last home games of the season, with only the Homecoming game left for the Patriots to play on their own turf. Being breast cancer awareness month, the night was also a Pink Out game, where fans were encouraged to show up decked in their best pink outfit. Besides the football players, the pep band, the Sparklers and varsity cheer squad also performed that night. After four long quarters, the Patriots secured the win with a final score of 28-21. Although the game had its ups and downs, the Patriots held a steady lead up until the 4th quarter when the Warriors gained some ground. Ultimately, the Patriots came up on top, securing their third win of the season.
