Ashley Weston, Staff Reporter

Ashley Weston is a sophomore at Lake Brantley. Now working as a staff reporter for the Brantley Banner, she was first intrigued by the opportunity to be a part of the newspaper staff in order to improve her writing, photography, and art. Joining newspaper was the perfect way to improve upon her passions. Ashley is also involved with the early childhood course to learn about teaching others and how to properly control a classroom environment, in the future Ashley plans to be a teacher.

Autumn Bellamy is in the cosmetology classroom working with a wig and wearing her custom made boots. Over quarantine Bellamy added onto these boots to create a new design and ended up getting the attention of her cosmetology teacher. Mrs.Hunt now wants shoes for herself and has asked for Bellamy to make them.

The empty preschool classroom in building 8 would usually be filled with the little patriots now but due to the arrival date change the room is still empty only with the workers in the room next to it. The preschool room has been able to be used for the workers to make YouTube videos and work on the assignments in a colorful environment.

These six masks were variables in an experiment to find which masks would work best, done by a Duke study. The N62927 and surgical mask worked the best just as any masks with 2-3 layers of cloth.
